16 January - Crowdfunding campaign launched

We’re so excited to announce that the show will premiere at the BFI Southbank! It’s a fantastic venue and as the ‘home of British cinema’ couldn’t be more cutting edge; which why they are up for screening an opera film with live performance in a cinema. In the live show the performers will take you on a parallel journey of discovery as both they and the audience participate as conference delegates. Tickets will be on sale from early March via the BFI Box Office.

We’ve already raised most of the money we need to make this project happen from Arts Council England, Macquarie Group Foundation and other trusts and foundations. But we’re still aiming to raise £4,965 from the public to help with the final costs of bringing 77 performers from Newcastle, Gateshead, Middlesbrough, Manchester, Nottingham and Cardiff to London to star in the show.

Can you help? Check out this short film for a sneak peek at the film and to see why we’d like to you get involved.
