Meet Anna Appleby, Streetwise Opera Composer in Residence for Manchester (2016-17). Anna is working with Streetwise Opera’s performers to create a new 3-5 minute chorus inspired by Britten's canticle, ‘Still falls the rain’. Her new composition will also be performed at a Manchester Opera Hour in spring 2017.

Footage taken at a training day with Streetwise's composers, workshop leaders and London performers. Background music is of Streetwise performers singing the opera Carmen.
