The uplifting and powerful Street Requiem, that has inspired and delighted audiences around the world, will be performed at Manchester Cathedral to remember those who have died on the streets of Manchester due to homelessness.

Street Requiem is an opportunity to experience sheer beauty, profound melancholy, and absolute joy and hope in one piece of music.

Sing the World brings together 70 singers from Australia, the USA and UK to present this piece in support of local homelessness charities.

The event also includes a performance by Streetwise Opera, whose immersive opera in Manchester, The Passion (★★★★★ The Times), was broadcast by BBC Four in 2016 and seen by a combined audience of 140,000.

This is a fundraising concert and all proceeds of the event will go towards Streetwise Opera's work with people who are or have been homeless in Manchester. For more information, please call 07962 405 933.
